The Blvd Temporarily Shuts Down
Sunday, July 31, 2011 More bad news on the live music front. How bad is yet to be seen. We had a feeling something was up over there and today our fears we're confirmed. Sounds like the all too familiar permitting issue. Some news from THE BLVD's Facebook page:
Unfortunately we had to put a hold on doing shows. We're working out some issues and hope to be able to start doing shows again asap. Sorry to all who care.

I'm cancelling all next weekends shows. The possibility of us being able to host them are slim at best, so I've told whoever the shows went thru to notify bands/promoters so hopefully they can find a new location.

The Rorschach date is a ways off, hopefully we're good by then.

We've had some noise complaints in the past, but for the record I'm being told we need to put a kitchen in.

The back stock room, apparently there used to be a kitchen there and it was taken out at some point. I'm being told it never should have been taken out. When I got the business it wasn't there but its up to me to put some form of kitchen back in.
