A Jodorowsky Bacchanal

Rest up the next few evenings because shit gets crazy starting Friday and straight through the rest of the month.  Tomorrow we will run our ticket giveaway for the EARTHLESS/CROM/BASTARD show we're presenting Friday night at Spaceland.  But if you're looking for an alternate reason to consume that psilocybin stashed in your drawer, there's a pretty intriguing event being run downtown that evening.  We've seen Jodorowsky's name dropped a lot lately.  Not being movie buffs, we're not sure what's happening now to create all the buzz, but we're all for celebrating any person that approaches their art from this perspective:   

I ask of film what most North Americans ask of psychedelic drugs. The difference being that when one creates a psychedelic film, he need not create a film that shows the visions of a person who has taken a pill; rather, he needs to manufacture the pill.

Don't ask us why it's being filmed but you can take advantage of their request for "Jodorowsky inspired attire" to conceal your identity, if that's a concern.  Here is what we do know:
