Saviours: Cavern of the Mind (live)
Wednesday, August 25, 2010 On September 4th, City of Devils and Ovrcast are joining forces again to co-present a FYF Fest post-party just walking distance away at the Mountain Bar, headlined by Oakland's SAVIOURS with support by HUNTRESS, BASTARD, and GLITTER WIZZARD. It will be free as always and will actually start up before the FYF Fest comes to a close, though SAVIOURS will not go on until SLEEP rests. To help promote the show, Scion has graciously allowed us to exclusively stream three videos from SAVIOURS' set at the Scion Rock Fest held earlier this year in Columbus, Ohio. Some people are underwhelmed by SAVIOURS' studio recordings, but if you probe the reasons a bit, you realize that's because it's hard to capture the rawness that typifies the live performances these road warriors (who are fresh off Ozzfest) put on night in and night out. This first video drives that point home. We'll post the other two over the next week. Enjoy.

Please make the show all ages like FYF Fest is.....
There may be a change of venue for this show but doubt it will be all ages wherever it's at. The venues decide who is allowed in unless we can pay them off for the loss of alcohol revenue (which is basically how they stay afloat). When it's a free show, that's even harder to do because the alcohol pays everyone (except us - we make nothing all the time).
