"We’re Black Metal Fans Ripping Off Thrash Riffs"

Those are the words of GOATWHORE/SOILENT GREEN vocalist Ben Falgoust describing the sound of tonight's headliner at The Blvd.  More generally, he has said that "metal is about the devil and it’s about really heavy-ass guitars that are loud."  I don't think anyone can seriously dispute that statement.  GOATWHORE's live sets are notoriously furious, and I can't think of a better way to close out the Hump Day leading into a holiday weekend then getting pummeled by these boys from NOLA.
