Dead Meadow Presents LA Approved
Monday, March 22, 2010 DEAD MEADOW and their new film, 3 Kings, will play at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery Thursday night. An appropriate setting, no doubt. Joining them will be DIOS, who seem so far to have escaped the wrath of Dio's attorneys, and LANTVRN, a loosely defined group that a lot of people are talking about and described by its leader, Camerin Kelly, as a "massive art project" that strives to perfom a "cosmic séance" to ease our fears of death and the afterlife. In addition to his sonic studies, it turns out Kelly is the graphic artist responsible for that SAVIOURS poster we like so much. This is one evening I have been looking forward to for awhile. And if you are too, pay attention to these rules. It may be your only way in.
THE SHOW IS FREE with an open bar but there is a 300 capacity on the space. To ensure you get in despite a sell-out you can pre-order the album and get placed on the RSVP list. The CD/DVD is $20 and the LP/DVD is $30. You can paypal to this email address (deadmeadowltd@yahoo.com) and pick up your copy at the show. We will keep a list of your name and email at the show. There will also be some giveaways stuff at the event too and a raffle for a mini practice amp by Orange! Your pre-order enters your name automatically into the raffle. Doors are at 8pm, band tentatively plays at 9:30pm. RSVP list closes at 9pm.

Martin of OVRCAST has pointed out that my "It may be your only chance to get in" language was a bit strong. You shouldn't be scared off from showing up if you don't want to participate in the pre-order. Capacity is over 300 so chances are actually pretty good you will get in. But if you worry about that kind of shit - and quite frankly I'm guilty of that myself - ordering now will assuage your concerns.
