Triptykon/1349 Ticket Giveaway

Metal pioneer Tom Gabriel Warrior, a man that by all accounts has influenced every heavy genre that has ever been, returns to LA this weekend with his new band, TRIPTYKON.  Fans of CELTIC FROST should not fret.  This is hi-quality shit, as relevant as just about anything out there today, even though the record, Eparistera Daimones, would not be out of place if it came out in 1995.  And some Frost has found its way into the setlist the band has been using at most shows on this tour:

Crucifixus (Intro)
Procreation (of the Wicked)
Goetia
Circle of the Tyrants
Abyss Within My Soul
The Usurper
Synagoga Satanae
The Prolonging
Winter (Outro)

As they have made their way west with co-headliners Norwegian black metallers 1349 and Chicago's "splendid weirdos" (1349's words, not ours) YAKUZA, TRIPTYKON has also released the Shatter EP and their first video for the title track:
So now for what you care about, because we hope you do not require much encouragement to come out for this killer bill.  If you want to be considered for a pair of free tix to the show, hit us up by tomorrow at noon with your full name by contacting us here or emailing thecityofdevils@gmail.com.  If you have submitted your name for the ongoing RUSSIAN CIRCLES/KEEHAUL contest, feel free to take a shot on this one too.  Only the winners of that one will be excluded from consideration.

And our understanding is that 1349 will headline this particular show, but don't hold us to it.  YAKUZA, led by the visionary Bruce LaMont, brings their unique brand of prog-jazz-metal to the stage at 8 PM.  Don't be late.
