- BLACK COBRA will celebrate the vinyl release of last year's underrated Chronomega with a performance at Vacation Vinyl on Valentine's Day @ 5 PM.
- Take a listen to "Frost Hammer" off HIGH ON FIRE's soon-to-be released fifth studio album, Snakes for the Divine, here. I've had the record for a while. It's all good.
- Chicago label Flingco Sound System generously releases They Don't Know Unless You Tell Them, a compilation of 15 unreleased tracks by all the bands on the label (including our personal favorites, WRNLRD) and some special musical guests, as a free download.
- Public Guilt is reissuing current Ipecac artist ZU's The Way of the Animal Powers on 180 gram wax, which was remastered by KHANATE's James Plotkin. Get a taste of what has caught the discriminating ears of Mike Patton and John Zorn by previewing the excellently named track "Tom Araya is Our Elvis".
- The filmaker who brought us The Decline of Western Civilization Parts I-III reflects back on her work with the help of the photography of Edward Colver.
