In a Warehouse Down by the River

This event should be a real good time.  EARTHLESS and BLACK COBRA come through town on occassion and always destroy, but this is a rare local appearance for Japan's psych/doomsters ETERNAL ELYSIUM.  They're in the area recording new material so we just might get to hear some of that.  Take note that the location for the show is different than I had posted before.

Jason Landrian of Black Cobra @ 2316 Porter St. So all those that attended this event know that Ovrcast ran it like a show at any normal venue.  You got ID'd, you smoked outside, it wasn't overcrowded, everybody was cool - just another show but with killer performances by Eternal Elysium and Black Cobra (sorry - I missed Moab).  OK - the bathroom situation was less than ideal, but that's the way it is in those spaces.  And then the authorities showed up, all 50+ of them with cars, trucks and lights everywhere, for no good reason and with a bad attitude, yet somehow they convinced themselves they were doing something important.  It was pathetic, and the people were deprived of Earthless, although I doubt anyone went home unsatisfied.  Fuck it all, and fucking no regrets.
