StonerRock.com reviews the new BLACK MATH HORSEMAN.  The rest of us can check out some of these tunes at their Blue Monkey show on Wednesday.  (StonerRock)

PUSCIFER is coming to Club Nokia.  Sounds like a bit of a freak show, but when the Las Vegas Review Journal speaks of "Krautrock-inspired metallic jams," that's enough to get me there.  I might be able to pull off a ticket contest for this one.  (Bravewords)

PUSCIFER's MySpace site is entitled "Censorship is a Cancer."  NACHTMYSTIUM was pulled out of this weekend's Scion Rock Festival in Alanta for being alleged Nazi sympathizers.  I guess that was too much for a Japanese car company to handle, even if falsely made.  Here's a Jew complaining about missing the last NACHTMYSTIUM show in Los Angeles because it was on Yom Kippur.  Coincidence?  Maybe.  Their next LA show in April 3, and the Jewish Calendar says that's 5 days before Passover.  Mazal Tov.

Video of NEBULA performing "The Hammer" off the Heavy Psych EP in November.  NEBULA is returning home to the Key Club on Thursday night with BIG ELF.  (Blabbermouth)

FAITH NO MORE (my first club show) is reuniting.  I feel reborn.  (Metal Sucks)

Texas black metallers ABSU is coming to the House of Blues LA in June, and will be performing at the Aquarius Records/WFMU SXSW Showcase.  Their new self-titled album causes Metal Sucks to conclude:  "if there’s a god that takes delight in Absu’s blackened metal swarm, you definitely want to worship it, because it has great taste."  (Metal Sucks).

What is being described as the "first-ever hard rock and heavy metal music award show" is taking place in downtown Los Angeles.  The Epiphone Revolver Golden God Awards (they should be giving an award for best new name of the show) will include performances by Hatebreed, All That Remains, and Killswitch Engage.  Ozzy will be given a lifetime achievement award - that speech may alone be worth the price of admission.  (SMN)
