Friday, December 11, 2009 This week has brought the official start to Mud Season for the towns that lie below the San Gabriel Mountains and the Angeles National Forest. So it's quite timely this this fortunately rare event coincides with another - two good shows in the greater Pasadena area. No better way to forget about mudslides than to drink them and have your eardrums pummeled for a while.

i was trying to go to the Black Math show but my girlfriends car got hit by a tree on a hill due to mudlside, no joke.
Our advice to brave the storm was clearly misguided. We tried to go too but got stuck at a work Xmas party, which is still better than getting hit by a tree. Hope everyone was OK.
