Ear/Splitters

We've written recently about the struggles in the metal underground but were encourged to learn about the emergence of the Ear/Splitters Co-Op who have a mission statement that we fully support:

The Ear/Splitters Co-op exists for one purpose: to unite the underground music scene in the greater Los Angeles/Orange County area. We will organize, inform and assist in developing and maintaining a solid community by connecting musicians and fans with their needs: live shows, promotion, recording, art, merchandise and production.

Their first show is this Wednesday in Long Beach and it offers a pretty potent lineup at a very reasonable price.  For those of you that can't make this show, CITY OF SHIPS will be playing the Cobalt Cafe in Canoga Park on Thursday.
